Volquartsen makes a kit that has the receiver and trigger assembly but the price is scary! By the time you're done you bought an Anschutz. However, all that I've...

Re: Observation ------

The organization is doing fine, and there was a little happening this past year but couldn't be discussed at that particular time as you were informed lately. There's more changes in the making but have to get the delegation together ...

Re: Reflex Sight
As I said sometime back, this has been a good discussion and thanks to all that participated (we made over 4 pages). Unless there is a great silent majority hiding out there I expect this rule to be rescinded. In the meantime, I'm going to take advantage of it and shoot for the fun of it 'cuz it doe...

Re: Reflex Sight
Concerning the above quote - " nobody is forcing anyone to do this" may I remind you that anyone 60+ can use reflex sights in Production, Revolver, and Standing. Even if their eyesight is exceptional ! As a person who has shot A LOT with red-dot sights and other optics - you will never co...

Re: Reflex Sight
Now I'm really getting confused. There are two keywords at the beginning of the rule: "To allow". Where in this rule does it say that you MUST do this? That, if you are over 60 and shooting production then you MUST stick a reflector sight on your gun whether you like it or not? It is bein...

Re: New rule submissions for 2018
Years and years ago I suggested that all IHMSA committees should be reporting what they are doing in each issue of the newspaper. If that had been adopted all the members would have had some insight to this proposed rule and any others that are in progress. Why must this organization be so secretiv...
