Well today was a record setting day :))
I maybe tied or set a new low SB US score and did set a new low BB standing score for me 8-}
And thanks to Jackie40x40 for bailing me out on the BB standing or it could have been a new all time low for a World championship. \:D/
But on a good note today was the last of 2 days of shooting standing And today was the most fun I have had ! :ymparty:
I spent time on the line with Richard and Jane Porter that I meet a few years back at their range in Sweetwater TX. Wheelgun, Kickbass, A super nice couple from Canada and a host of others that I did not catch their names. And it’s always a good start when you’re greeted by the always smiling Jackie Brown :D and John Anderson :D . Funny I have not seen a smile on our President, Vice President faces did catch a grin on Our Sec./Tres. Face but That could have been cause he just remembered to do the financial report. :-? The weather was great 101deg. In the shade with 95% humility just like being at home ~o)
And it looks like people have figured out who I am, this whole week I’ve had hundreds ask me to autograph there score cards which is strange normally I’m ask to autograph caps, picture even once a baby’s butt. I guess it just because that’s all they have. Tonight the big Banquet and I guess I will get hundreds of request from people to get their picture made with me. B-)

Well it all but over.
And yes it was Alabama day. And Alabama won the first Gun but Oklahoma won the second
I started the day With UAS HS Clean until you guessed it the Turkeys went 15/20 on those.
Got back track with rams going 18/20 finishing with a 73=36.5 for a new high score for me and put me in 1st. “AA” UAS HS so pretty happy with that
Second Gun BB UAS (same gun) Well finished my 1st. INT./world championship just like I started
Doing everything I could to shoot myself in the foot. And I did a great job at that.
Let me just put it like this: I shot 79 times knocked over 78 targets and my score was 75.
I will leave it to your imagination LOL
So as it stands right now (today total not posted)

I’m in a shot off for 1st. “AA” UAS FS
I’m in 1st. place “AAA” SB U
I’m in 1st. place “AA” HS UAS

But ether way I shot 10 guns had 2 new high scores and 2 tie high scores was somewhat pleased
With the way I shot 6 of them. As far as the shooting part goes

But the main Thing is The INT./world championship is no green monster. There is no reason a new shooter as I’m to me intimidated. The people on the Line took very good care of me and made it a great experience.
Had another super fun day Spent time with Mr. Fields, Jackie Brown is top notch
I got to spend time with old friend and meet some super new ones and did meet only a couple of real jerks
Thank to all
Bear with me internet problems at the hotel
updated score (I hope)

Well Stick a fork in it it’s done ~o)
The 20014 IHMSA World championship is in the books and Mr. Martens pretty much won it all ^:)^
Including the Iron man. Some of the Super nice “locals” managed to win a few. Jerry Ray from Cal. Got his share \:D/
My story and I’m sticking to it. No 80x80 for me 8-} but I could go by "ole78x80" =))
10 guns 3 1st. place finishes in my class lost the 4th in a shoot off(to Mr Field’s 13 year grandson)
2 second places, 2 new high scores and 2 new low scores :ymapplause:

1St. BB standing “AA” set a new low score for me and still tied for 1st. got to the shoot off line but the other guy never showed SO I HAVE NOW WON MY 1t. SHOOT OFF.
1st. HS UAS “AA” 72 or 3 won by 4 targets
1st. SB U “AAA” 75 this one really means something to me
2nd FS U my 1st. entry, new low score only got second because there were only 2 of us lol
2. FS UAS lost in the shoot offs But interesting story.(this did not change the out come I was beat by a better shot) ON” load” I unscrewed the caps on my target turrets the dial was set on 1, problem is 1 is not a setting I use and for the FS chicks @ 100 I needed #9.5
Now with about 15 sec. Till “fire” I have to make the call up to #9.5 OR down to #9.5(this is real life you can’t make the stuff up) I guessed up 1st. shot 10” high so I went down a round and back to #9.5
Bingo nailed the second, missed the 3rd. got the 4th and missed the 5th. For 2 shoot offs target
The gent. I was shooting against missed all. Then the next “top shot” 13 years old comes to the line ^:)^
Nails the 1st. 3 then shoots # 5 instead of #4 no big deal those 1st. 3 bet my 2

All in All I will say this was a positive experience for me. Yes I made some mistakes but some INT. shooters made the same one to. I shot some good scores and I shot some really bad scores.
I blew it on my 1st. gun and blew it on my last gun but I saw INT. shooters blow it a bunch
And yes I saw people “cheat” that something they got to live with. I had all the time I needed to set up on the line, get score card signed, even go to the bathroom in between rounds. Sometimes it was a little hard to find were you should shot from but really no big problem. And yes I saw a few sad faces at the end of the day but I believe I saw more smiles.
Bottom line anybody that thinks only INT. shooter should go to the World Championship IS DEAD WRONG. :-B
sorrow but the latest score pictures did not turn out X(
I did add some new picture pictures
