BFR says with factory fluting, the lightest you can get their BFR 300 AAC Blackout with a 10-inch barrel is 5.3 lbs. and 5 lbs. with an 8-inch barrel. I’m not sure how much difference in weight the 357 maxi would be.
If only one of those jokes can become a reality, my hope would be for Freedom Arms to produce the model 83 revolver in 357 maxi with a 10 inch barrel, but I don’t know if they could lose enough weight in the grip to make the 4 lb. revolver weight limit.
