ASCENSION SILHOUETTE
GONZALES, LA
April 7, 2013
BY: CHARLIE BRAUD

We had a lighter than usual turnout for our April match with only 10 entries. A new shooter was with us today, Doug Inwood. This was Doug’s first ever silhouette match and I hope he enjoyed his day as much as we enjoyed having him with us. Doug, we hope to see you and Rhonda again real soon. Philip Braud and Ginny West each entered a perfect score in UAS and the resulting shoot-off was exciting and very close with Philip winning taking 5 straight 1/5 scale chickens at 100 yards. Ginny was right there with 4 chickens for a close second place finish. Also with us today was Jay Clark and Robert Stevens who stayed after the match to help us pick up. Thanks Bob. Also, continued thanks to my better half Carolyn for again setting targets all day. Our next match is Saturday, May 4th.

I had a great time. :)

I've marked Saturday May 4 on the calendar and told some friends of mine that shoot, so there may be a few more new shooters there :)

2 ..... room for some improvement :D

Thank you Charlie for the coaching and advice. I've been practicing.
