I'm looking for a thigh protector to use while shooting revolvers in the creedmore position. I already have a lower leg protector, now I need the upper leg/thigh protector. Thanks in advance for the help.

what type are you looking for ?

there are basically 2 main types.

1 is like mine which wraps around your thigh and is velcro'd. mine I got from Lee Cottrell a LONG time ago!

the other is basically a square piece of welding leather (some have a Kevlar insert) with a strap to go over your knee.

I am going to The LASC extravaganza next weekend and maybe somebody might have one for sale then. I can always pass your info if one is up for sale.

I think Joe Cullison still makes them. His contact info should be in the IHMSA News. He's a Regional Director.

That's exactly what I did. He had to 'dig' a little for the pattern but he's going to try to have one made for me within the week!

The one I was looking for was the one that wraps around your thigh and fastens with velcro.

nobody had any thigh protectors for sale at the LASC extravaganza

I contacted Joe Cullison, Region 7 director. He is still making them. He said to email him. Info is in the IHMSA News.
