With TC Contenders being discontinued at S&W, where does a shooter go to get some of the small parts? Looking for hammer noses, hammer nose screws(or can someone tell me what the exact size is?) and firing pins and firing pins springs. Picked up some hammer springs from Bellm and hammer nose detents...but I figured that I should be stocking up on some other parts and repairing some of my TCs that need help now. Thanks for the help!!

Can someone please provide the formal announcement from S&W that they are dropping support for the early TC Contenders? I know only G2 Contenders are being produced today but did not hear where they are stopping support for the early Contenders. Thanks

Well, I don't know about a formal announcement but this is what I received in an email from S&W concerning a number of small parts that I requested for my old TC Contenders.......
Dear Customer,
I can recommend where to look for parts on a gun like that. Try trackofthewolf.com, thegunworks.com, and gunpartscorp.com
If further assistance is required please reply accordingly.
Sincerely,
Will
The first two are muzzleloading sites and the last one is sold out on just about everything concerning TCs. Obviously they're not supporting any of the early Contenders at all.

Got it & you are most welcome. I am just glad I could help.
BTW, a bit of SW Iowa news, the Bonaparte Inn just sold for $140,000. Rumor is that the new owner will turn it into condos for hunters. An interesting concept!
