Yes thousands of them,if you use the lee hand primer you can tell they are little harder to seat in Lapua brass than the Federal match.I cant tell any difference
between the Federal m and Remington 7 1/2 on accuracy.

I agree with Jackie. 7 1/2's are all I have used for 30 years in all my BR chamber inns.

Take a guess as to what primer Remington used when they brought out 7BR ammo. Give up?
Hint - It WASN'T Federal 205s!

For us mere mortals who can't afford Lapua brass, 7 1/2s work just fine. With current shortages, I guess I will be using whatever small rifle primers I can get my hands on. At least the ones I don't have to take a second mortgage out on the homestead!!!!

i wrought down the wrong sizes. rem 7 1/2 were .122 and fed 205m were .118

I have never had a problem seating 7 1/2 primers in Lapua cases or Norma cases. But, I don't use a Lee hand priming tool either. I also don't have a problem when I use my Sinclair priming tool.

I have not used the lee in years either,I use the Hornady L N L,there should not be any issues with the Remingtons if you use a progressive loader. Just wanted him know if he used the Lee.
