Our last match was shot under sunny warm skies. The winds were blowing at an almost gale force. I know sometimes they must have been at least 30 mph. It made shooting a standing gun real fun. Our usual crowd was down a little. I suppose most of our shooters were gone because of spring break. Hopefully they will be back next month. Ricky Foster from Richmond came back with a new scope on his Ruger Mk II to give them another try. He shot his way into AA in the trial Practical Hunters Category. Glad you could come back Ricky. Jason Swartz came and brought his family to try their hand with the .22 rifle. I think they had a good time. His wife seemed impressed with our shooters boxes. He and his son were the only ones to shoot. Perhaps mom and the daughter will give them a go next time. Johnny Matthews from Winchester came and gave the field pistol targets a try. Also glad to see Doug Alexander. Glad to have all of the shooters that made this match here.

Our next match is May 1st. Be there or be square. Now to the scores.

My family and I had a great time, Greg! My son and I will be shooting there regularly, and once I get a rifle with a stock short enough for my daughter she will be too. My wife though, I'm not so sure she'll be shooting in front of a group of people any time soon.
