Glad to hear the great response. I know I am excited to hear what the final number is for entries at this event, sounds like this was a well promoted and well-done match. Great job to everybody at the ECC!

First two days of ECC weather pretty good but a bit windy on Saturday. Great representation of highly skilled shooters. Staff running administrative duties very well and quite accommodating. Auto set targets have kept the match on schedule. No scores posted yet but this range continues to be as challenging as last year.
I had the opportunity to meet tonedaddy and Jeff Web for the first time, enjoyed the interesting conversations. Congrats to tonedaddy for the great 60 in UAS-BB!
Weather is quite unpredictable for the next few days. Not sure how the match is progressing today Monday as I returned home Sunday evening. I will be returning with Judy to shoot about 8 additional entry's before things wrap up on Thursday.
Looked as if there are plenty of openings for anyone interested in just dropping in to shoot. David and Greg will make sure you have an opportunity to shoot. FYI, targets are all in meters...

Hey, Craig
It was great seeing you and Jeff at the ECC. Today was rainy, but the ECC went on as scheduled. Everything ran smoothly, and we just enjoyed a great dinner at the range provided by the hosts.
This is a great event, run by hard working people, namely david Bemis, Greg, their saintly wives, Robby, and a host of others.
I hope this becomes an annual event.
More shooting tomorrow!!!

Having just returned home, enroute to the Georgia FP and SB match I must say I'm glad Dave Chaney and I made the trip. David Bemis has put in many hours of work and Robby, Greg and Kathy ran it smoothly. A distinct highlight this year was LuAnne who cooked breakfast to order each day plus serving lunch. We need to have her next year. ---Not so subtle hint.
Greg said be prepared for the weather and it was certainly up to the billing, including the wind. Some of us suffered more than others but we knew it would change in a while.
The scores will underline how important it is to make each target count. They are close.
It was nice to meet some new friends as well as renew older acquaintances. If any of you remember Don and Myrna Rainey from our times at the Oak Ridge TN range some few years ago------they visited with us over the weekend. You will be pleased to know that both are well. It was especially nice to see Frank Parker in competition again. Frank suffered a stroke a couple of years ago. His step doesn't have the spring it once did but he appears to making his recovery.
Many of us believe this match will continue to grow annually. If you missed this one you should most certainly set aside time to attend next spring. Richard

I enjoyed seeing everyone too and am glad to see the increase in number of shooters, especially from all the different states! (13 states in all). I thing Greg had started a great thing! I shot Saturday. I haven't seen all the scores yet. Can anyone tell me if my 39 in BB Standing production held up?

Well, made it home. As everyone else has stated, it was indeed, great to meet new people and see some once again. It was a fantastic match and fun was had by all. I was there from the beginning till the end and I, very much, look forward to next year. I too look forward to seeing the posted scores.

Congratulations to Greg and Kathy Rhineheimer of KY, the 2014 recipients of the Region 2 Steven G. Riddle Memorial Trophy. Greg and Kathy exemplify the commitment and spirit of IHMSA. Many of you are aware of Greg's recent accident which limited his physical movement for a time, but even under those circumstances and from his hospital bed, he along with the help of his devoted wife Kathy, David Bemis and Robbie and others, successfully hosted the 2014 East Coast Championship / Region 2 BB & HS Championship. Past recipients of the Steven G. Riddle Memorial Trophy include Philip and Charlie Braud of LA; Richard Pickering of GA
