Hello everyone, I am the match director at Piedmont and the VA State Director and will be conducting the Region II championships. We are in the process of making arrangements for this match and have started accepting registrations for the match. Please feel free to ask me for details as to facilities available at the club. We do have 30 RV camping slots at $10.00 per night and primitive camping is also available on the club grounds. We are in the process of arranging for tee-shirts for the match and I will announce details of this and other events as they become available. Please feel free to ask me anything you want in regards to the match and other attractions in the area.

Match Fees will be $20 per gun with a max of $100 total with a $5 registration fee. Early registrations are accepted and if accompanied with a $50 deposit, we will not require the registration fee (this fee is to offset the cost of mailing out plaques to the shooter). Contact me for details concerning this if you desire to preregister.

How much for primitive camping? I am coming as far as I know and will be camping in a tent. Will there be a Building to get out of a storm if one comes? Do you want us to call you or email our entries in? Do you need names and IHMSA numbers for Orchid software like some ranges do? Is there an extra cost for shirts or are they part of entry fee?

Greg,
Primitive camping is free at PSC. When I mean primitive camping this is without any facilities other than water and you must furnish a container for that. In regards to shelter, I am planning on staying in the clubhouse during the match so it would be available if weather becomes an issue. Tee-shirts will be above the cost of the match and we have not gotten a final price for them at this point in time.

The match will start at 8:00AM and the last gun goes up at 2:00PM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Monday will will shoot from 8:00AM till 12:00 (noon) and then start the shoot-offs. There will be 20 minutes between each relay during normal competition.

In regards to preregistering, I will be be using the Orchid software so I will need your IHMSA number, address, the categories you plan on shooting and your classification in that category. Once I receive your registration, we can work out any conflicts concerning scheduling. Slots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. I will accept registrations by email or by snail mail. As stated earlier, if there is not a $50.00 deposit with registration, there will be a $5.00 registration fee above the cost of shooting. This is to cover the cost of mailing your plaque to you since it will not be available at the match.

IF I have missed anything in regards to your questions, please let me know.
