Match day in August provided some warm temperatures. I would like to congratulate Mike Davis for accepting this months challenge. Mike broke the BORDELLO range record with a 23! Until today the high score was 17 shot by John Blue of Oklahoma.
Mike shot a semi-auto 1911 in 38 Super without optics. Great shooting Mike would be a good idea to bring your new spotter to the next match! You have set the bar for future events.
Also worthy of noting William Parmley shot a very respectable 37 in Field Pistol Practical Hunter Short Course. That is also a range record. Bill shoots a Ruger Single action 22 Magnum. Once again congratulations to both of you and thank you for attending our match.
I would also like to welcome two first time silhouette shooters from Wisconsin. Terry Ament and Starr Marsala were a great addition to our match. We hope you enjoyed your shooting experience. For those of you that don't know Starr is my sister.
Everyone is always helpful with match setup and take down. Thank you, we couldn't do this without your help.
Also our range was once again prepared beautifully by Lynn and sons!
We are now shooting SB 1/5 scale each and every month. This is a sanctioned IHMSA discipline for 22 rimfire handguns.
