Its been a long time since I have competed, and I recently became the owner of a factory XP-100 with 10.5" barrel .221 FB. Can anyone refresh my memory if i can use this for production ?

Official Rules, Section VI: Handguns, A. Production, #18 Bolt action handguns are allowed for Air Pistol Production handguns only.
Great question, I learn something every time I read the rules!

It's good to see a shooter back at it. What range do you shoot at?

If you are gonna change the chambering, I would suggest 7tc, as BR brass is alot
harder to find than .223 is. I had to do that when I bought an xp-100 in 7BR. There
was just no BR brass to be found at that time. I had Buddy Rhoades rebarrel mine
for 7tc, and it shoots great! I shot my first 40 ever, with it.

What part of the country are you in? Here in Georgia several folks shoot 221 FB in half scale.

Well damn. I wish I knew about the 6br lapua brass. I passed some up a few months back.
