Does anybody have any load information for the 7mmTCU using SR4759 with 150gr jacketed bullets.
I have searched but can find nothing.
Thanks,
Pete

SR4759 is a little too fast burning for the 7TCU. Might be able to find some load data with cast bullets though
Did find cast bullet data in the RCBS cast bullet Manual.
both RCBS 145gr and 168gr cast bullet: 18-20grs of SR4759

I have used 18.0 grains of SR4759 with the following cartridges/jacketed bullets with no problems. Turned out to be very mild loads and very accurate too.
30BR with 150 grain Hornady for full size and 125 Sierras for 1/2 size
7-08 with 138 grain Hornady bullets
3-08 with 150 grain Hornady bullets
Used standard primers for all loads.
IHMSA Reloading Guide shows 17.0 grains of H4227 with a 139 and 145 jacketed bullet then 17.0 to 18.5 with a 150 grain jacketed bullet. This is a fast powder too so you might want to try 16.0 grains of SR4759 as a starting load and go from there.
Proceed at your own risk of course.

Hey Pete,
You cant go wrong with 24.5 grains of H322 in just about everything. I use it in 7TCU, 7BR, 7US and a couple others that I shouldnt.

I've used 15 grains of SR-4759 with a 150 grain bullet in my 10" 7 TCU for years. Works great.

Thanks, going to load a few up and try them tomorrow. And some H322 to compare.

Well, I tried 18 grains of SR-4759 with Hornaday 139's and it was like shooting
a pop gun! I'm going to 21.5 grains this season, and see what happens. I'm shooting
a Wichita 7 int and max load in my manual is 23.5 grains. We shall see, I guess.
This is the bolt action Wichita.
