Have they or are they going to change the rules about the 10.75in barrel.
TC only makes the 12in barrel is it or will it ever be leagl??
Alan
was just wondering since they do not sell any factory 10 barrels and the custom shop is closed.
To bad we can't use factory parts

I don't look for this rule to change any time soon.............if ever.

You can shoot the 12" barrel now in Unlimited.

Perhaps you can buy an older barrel. As I recall, TC used to sell shorter barrels.

Aftermarket barrels are allowed as long as they conform to the original TC specs. If TC offered it as an option, you can get one from someone else. Basically, that would include tapered or bull barrels, stainless or blue. Custom features that TC never offered, such as barrel fluting, would not be allowed.

Hi all, I am new to this forum....
At my club we shoot Field Pistol Silhouette once a month, I've read the rules and I want to get a TC Contender in 22 hornet with a 10 3/4 inch Barrel to shoot the Standing Production category but the TC Contenders available in Australia come with 12" & 14 " barrels.

My question is can I buy a 12" barrel TC Contender and have a gunsmith cut it down to 10" and still be Production legal for Field Pistol competition?

Thanks in advance

I believe so, as this was offered as a standard length factory barrel.
