Another hot day. At least it didn’t rain. Tom Wood and Joe Puffert each had 40 X 40’s in Big Bore, with Tom knocking down 3 more shoot off targets. Tom also had another 40 X 40 in a re-entry. Walt Sweet missed a couple of rams to end up with a 38, and Kevin is still working on his new gun, shooting 29 the first time and a doing a little better on the re-entry.
Walt was also our only half scale shooter, knocking down 9 of each and 10 on the rams. We need to have a few more people try out our new half scale targets. They are getting lonely just sitting out there.
Walt and Larry were our only small bore shooter, each winning their respective class.
It was good to see Justin Kling back this year. He had a real nice 20 in .22 Hunter’s pistol. He also was our only Field Pistol shooter, so that makes him our field pistol champ for the day.
I hope everyone can make it to our next match on July 31.
