The Logan Handgun Association in OH has a long time policy of awarding an IHMSA membership to the highest scoring non-member shooter when there are 5 or more nom-member entries. We would award two memberships for 10 or more entries, etc. We had a shooter win a membership at our July match. When IHMSA memberships began on any month of the year, the LHA would immediately submit the winning non-member info to HQ for an annual membership. Now that all memberships begin in January, it would not be practical to submit this new membership for just a few remaining months in 2018.

Can we pay for a 2019 membership now for this new shooter or must we wait until January 2019? For that matter, can any current IHMSA member pay ahead for a 2019 membership? I doubt if the PayPal option could handle this situation or if HQ could track early payments. Please advise.

I think he’s running their State championships this weekend, so you might give him a few extra days to respond.

If paid by check this year. Will it help alleviate the lost payments of last year? I know of about three or more that was lost. Including mine.

All memberships are due January 1. I'm a Life member so don't know if IHMSA still bills annual members or not.

Thanks, just completed the online renewal. Hope to make a few more matches in 2019 then I was able to make in 2018

No Dues reminders are sent out.
All annual memberships are due to be renewed on Jan 1.
So now is the time to renew membership in the best shooting sport there is.
