I watched "Guns & Ammo" TV show today on one of the outdoor cable channels and they had this new bolt action Remington mag fed pistol they were testing. Travis Thomasie, formerly of Para-Ordance, was testing it. It comes with 12.5" barrel in .308 and .300 blackout. He mentioned you can also get 10.5" barrel length too. Looks very interesting.

It's a chassis type, built on short action 700. Five & ten round magazines. Has AR-15 type forearm. No metallic sights included. Travis was shooting it with a scope on it. It was very accurate. Bullets touching on target.

I'm a huge fan of the XP-100, with a couple dozen in my safe, but this thing, I have zero interest in.

Come on, guys, the thing has possibilities. Let's wait and see. Hell, how many new possible silhouette guns have we seen introduced in the last 10 years by ANYBODY?

I like the potential, esp. in .300 BLK. But whether it'll be better than my manually operated AR pistols is questionable. And the latter are easier to reconfigure and rebarrel.

Steve, I would love a new Nosler, but like Freedom Arms revolvers, they are WAY out if my price range. I'll just have to make do with my XP-100, and Ruger .44 magnum.
