Let us all remember the brave men and women who served in our armed forces 75 years ago today. Especially remember the brave soldiers who took place in the invasion in Normandy. Many of them still rest in France. Many of us have family members who took place in that horrific event and we need to remember the sacrifice made by so many on this day. That was surely the greatest generation who stepped up to ensure freedom for Europe and the rest of the world. We have had many brave men and women step up in conflicts since then and we also honor them.
