Just letting you know that a new Gun will be coming out soon and it is called the SSK-50.

It is a complete copy of the original G1 Contender! and what they state is that parts and accessories will be completely interchangeable with the G1 contender.

Parts are presently available (which they say will fit the contender) and Complete firearms/ receivers will be available soon. Their website is showing a cost of $288.00 for a receiver.

A Parent company named Lehigh Defense makes Brass and ammo. Right now they have brass for the JDJ and whisper calibers. They also stated they will have 7BR brass available by the end of the year and 225 win brass soon. They are expensive though.

All of these are part of SSK Industries (JD Jones).

Dan, That is GREAT news!!!!! I think that will be on the top of my wish list when they finally come out.
I wonder if the rules committee will allow this to be used in Production since it will be a clone of the G1.

I passed on the email I received to them. hopefully they will have no problems with it!

I went through all the parts they show and it looks like all parts will be the same Except the Interlock safety.

so the parts should work with your G1's!

Just got word that the Frames should be available in about 5-6 weeks.

they finally released a picture of the frame!

I put one on order today. Supposedly available in mid December.

I put two on order 4 wks. ago

So this really isn't a "Contender" but an SSK-50.
Sure hope the rules committee allows this to be Production legal.
I will be greatly surprised if they declare it illegal for Production.

Does anyone have an idea of how often the Evaluation Committee meets for new manufacture approvals?
Is there a published list of approved handguns?
Will rule VI: Handguns - A. Production - 7. TC Arms need to be edited?
