Somebody help me here, If I recall correctly these stock require a short trigger, and Is any of these triggers available?

I didn't build the gun but an OH shooter built it back in the 80s and he said he used a standard Shilen Remington 700 trigger. Looks like a standard Rem 700 trigger to me. If I convert this XP back to center grip, I plan to use this trigger on my Remington .222 rifle so I guess I will find out then if there is a difference in triggers.
