Ken LaCroix - update

I spoke with Kenny’s son and wanted to pass along Kenny’s status, as he was a very long and delicate member.
Kenny’s health has taken a turn for the worst, he has been living with his daughter, confined to a wheelchair because of many falls. She put Kenny in a nursing home for a week while her family went on vacation. The first night he got out of bed on his own and fell again, breaking his right hip.
They transferred him the the vets hospital for surgery. While their they did a CT scan of his neck because of a constant cough. He has large growth next to his trachea ,that their sure is cancer.
Kenny’s wishes are no further treatment, so the VA is looking for a bed for him in a local nursing home where they will get hospice started to keep him comfortable.
He hasn’t been able to have any visitor’s at the VA, because of several covid outbreaks, hopefully we can see him at the nursing home.
