Anyone heard of Competition Arms?

I like the old silhouette shooting guns and know the Thompson/Center contenders were some of the most popular but there are some really interesting (to me) other ones out there like the Magnum Research Lone Eagle or the MOA Maximum. One I'd never heard of until today is the Competition Arms (Tucson, AZ) Competitor single shot pistol. It seems maybe as few as 50 were made and they had user-changeable barrels similar to Dan Wesson revolvers.
I saw one come up for sale but I don't know what it's really worth. It only has one barrel.
I could only quickly find one closed auction which was barely a year ago but came with 5 barrels and sold for $850.

If anyone has any knowledge, experience, or other insight into these single shot, break action pistols please share it.
Also, if anyone has one that they'd be at all interested in selling please let me know.

since that is Tucson, I think that is the Predecessor to the RPM XL

Jim Rock lived in that area and was the owner of RPM...

Too long of a story to tell, but when Competition Arms of Tucson stopped operations, all of the tooling and spare parts went through a couple different hands until a few years ago when I ended up with all the parts. I still have them. I haven't done anything with them yet.

That's incredible to hear! If you decide to put some together I'd love to have a complete set or one just in 357 magnum or Max.

That would require a firearms manufacturing license for me and I can't see that happening. Replacement barrels might could be arranged but I'd have to job that out to someone who is licensed and equipped. Probably won't ever happen. I've only kept this stuff in the event that I could hand it off to someone who could take the ball and run with it.

By any chance do you have barrels and extractors? the barrels are interchangeable and I would love to have a couple calibers for mine.
