The highlight of today’s match was a return to the fold of an old time IHMSA member. Carey Hymel joined us after being away from silhouette for many years. We hope to see Carey again soon. Philip again pushed his Ruger Charger to a 40X40 in UAS, then re-entered using his UAS Anschutz and fired another 40X40. Floyd Younger was on hand today test driving his “Modular” Striker. The gun has Iron sights mounted to shoot in the Unlimited category and he also has two different scopes in QD rings so he can shoot UAS and US with the same gun. Richard & Ginny West were on hand as well as Jay Clark and Bob Stevens. An observation that speaks to the average age of our regular shooters: out of twelve entries fired, ten were with optics. No shoot-offs today, on to the scores.
