What a beautiful day for shooting. Unfortunately Walt had to leave early and only got to shoot one gun. He said he was coming back, but we didn’t know he was coming back to shoot. We were going to surprise him and have the range already picked up and all the targets put away and locked down. He came back just as we were finishing up. So he didn’t get to shoot any more entries. Sorry Walt! Welcome back to Jim Kesser who stayed and helped us with the range. Also, congratulations to Jim for a fine Field Pistol score of 37 in PAS. That would be a record for our range!
Jim also was the only brave soul to shoot open sight classes. We don’t have many people do that anymore! Jim shot both Unlimited and Production big bore classes. We had 3 40 X 40’s, with Tom Wood beating out Joe and Dean on shoot off targets. In .22 class, Dean Grua knocked down all 40 with 4 shoot off targets. I managed to let one ram sneak away, but I did get all of the shoot offs!
