G'day from Downunder.

G'day All , I have a Ruger .41 magnum blackhawk revolver with a 6.5 inch barrel with fixed front sight and I understand that I am unable to fit my Bond - Bomar sights and still be production legal my question is if I purchase a current production new barrel from Ruger which has a screw on front sight and have it fitted will my gun still be production legal ? thanking you all in advance for any help you may be able to provide .

As a humble match director, I would call it legal as you are using factory parts. You might also consider a longer barrel if offered by Ruger.
