Pickaway County Sportsmen Club June

We had some fantastic scores shot this month.

The smallest shootoff is a 1/5 scale chicken at 75. We may have to get something smaller.

Re: 7mm US load data...

Hi Dan You will love the way it kicks out those rimmed cases. My go to load is 150 grain sierra Match HPBT or the Sierra 150 grain SP with 24.5 grains of H322. I usually use a standard Winchester LR primer. If was loading for a range with sticky Rams, i might go to 25.5 grains of H322. Enjoy. Jim

Re: Handgun Scopes

The Leupold 2.5x8 pistol scope hits your first 2 and on PH isnt it the honor system on how far you crank the magnification? Only downside is I heard a rumor they were going to quit making that scope. Hope its just a rumor. I do know you can no longer send it back for the tall turret knobs as they ha...

Re: 2024 IHMSA Championship Registration

I have an exciting up date for the Championship match. We are currently at a total of 332 entries and last year at this time we were at 213. This does not include air or 500 meter entries. We should be in excess of 400 with those catagories. There are 12 states represented so far. We have 6 lady co...

Re: Field Pistol Presidents club 2024

Here is another score to report.

I shot a 36 P and a 33 PAS at LHA for a 69 agg.

Jack and I need some company. Send me your President club scores.

Re: Thread pitch

Once I find my chicken setting, i draw a silver line across the screw or adjustment knob then fill the line on the side with red fingernail polish. (Use a very fine toothpick) . With the red line lined up and my silver line on top, that is my chicken zero. Pigs, turkeys , and rams will be clicks up ...

Re: Field Pistol Presidents club 2024

We have another entry for 2024 and this one is mine;

Shot a 35 Prod and a 25 PAS to just barely make 60 club. This was on Jack Lambert’s range in WV. Jack duplicated his last score with a 64 and he is still in first place in the agg.

Re: Barrel contour for XP-100 clone

Sorry to take so long to verify.

And dont ever trust my memory. It was a terrible thing to waste.

My barrel from Lilja was an XP-11 which is their closest to a Remington taper.
