Ken LaCroix

Post by captainjohn »

Kenny LaCroix passed away at approx. 1800 hours today in hospice care in the nursing home.
Ken (former Region 5 Director) and his late wife
Nancy ( former IHMSA President) we’re both very strong supporters of IHMSA. If you ever attended the Internationals, they were their. Kenny would stay in the stat house entering the days scorecards often past midnight. Their long hours and dedication and love for the sport and fellow shooters will be dearly missed.
Rest In Peace Kenny, till we meet again on the range. JR

Ken dedicated many, many hours to IHMSA and particularly the Internationals. He spent countless hours at registration and entering scores when everybody else was eating dinner or already asleep.

My fondest memory of Kenny was him spotting my air pistol entries at the LASC Internationals.
We shot at night, outside, under lights. Kenny came late because he was entering scores. I know that is another night when he got to bed after midnight.

He was a great friend, competitor, and supporter of IHMSA.

May he rest in peace.

Ken was always helping new and even experienced shooters. He and I did a First Time Shooter’s clinic at our first local match of the season for over 25-years. He really enjoyed helping the new shooters. And if you any questions about handgun silhouette, Ken knew the answer or found it out for you and tracked you down with the answer.

Ken was liked by many and will be missed by many.
