Steve Riddle and I both had those 6BR's at the same time. We had 17 degree grips, fluted bull barrels. Deadly accurate, but you had to get the velocity up around 2200 fps which was always not easy in a prod. length barrel.I shot mine for several years, and did not miss very many targets. We both moved on to 6.5BR. I still love the 6BR in a Production MOA.
Dang, I miss Steve!!! :(

If you or Steve has one! By that I mean any gun. I know they are shooters,I remember Steve telling me he used 2 chronographs 1 at 25 and 1 200 meters.
I got a lot of info from Steve over the years.Yes sir I miss him too. When he lived in Kansas we shot at each others ranges on a regular basis. When he move to Georgia I only got to see him At Internationals.

Yep, we used to set up 2 chronos!!! Always made me a little nervous, though!! :)
We would spend all day at the range, and it always seemed like Steve settled on a near maximum load!!! :) But, he was very meticulous in his testing.
I would love to find another MOA, fluted bull barrel, in 6BR!!!

I was reminded of Steve Riddle the other evening. I was watching a DVD documentary of the band "Kansas", and their principle songwriter, Kerry Livgren - sounds EXACTLY like Steve ! Small wonder, he was born in Topeka ! I have MANY memories of Steve, and all of them are treasured.
