It was great to be back on the range shooting silhouettes!
JPRPC hosted the first Big Bore match of 2015 on Sunday March 29, 2015. Participation was better than anticipated but we missed those that could not attend. Thanks to each person that contacted me and we hope to see you next month.
We had two 40's shot during this match. Lee Jackson in Unlimited BB and John Howard shooting UAS BB. Congratulations, this was a great way to launch the season!
In the Tactical 4-Position Club Match, Don Pitt shot the full size targets with a excellent final score of 34. Center-fire rifles are allowed but muzzle velocity must be 2400 fps or less. Any firearm causing target damage will not be allowed to continue the course of fire. Reduced loads are mandatory for competitors shooting CF rifles on the BB targets.
I would like to thank everyone that helped resetting targets throughout the day. Bob and Darell went the extra mile assisting setup Saturday evening. When I arrived at the range Sunday morning Darell had already set every target up ready to be painted!
Judy and I would like to thank everyone that contributes to make this a successful match day.
