Thanks Richard. New gun (Wichita 308), new load, great cast bullet (NOE 150) and just had sight setting for chickens. I have to give credit to Jeff Webb who spotted for me. Normally I don't have a spotter but could not have hit them all without Jeff. Chickens were all in the center and was OK guessing from chickens to pigs. Guessed two up for turkeys but hit first turkey half way down leg (great windage!). Brought sights up three clicks and was good on rest of turkeys. Guessed eight clicks for rams and hit first one in top of back so down two clicks and rest of rams were good. This is only my fourth iron sight 40 since I started shooting in 1981 so was a big thrill to be able to do it again especially after cataract surgery lets me see sights and targets again. Now just have to see if this was a one time fluke or I can repeat it.
