It has been a very difficult season for Ascension Silhouette. We had to cancel three monthly matches this year due to weather and then, at least partially because of the recent historic local flooding, participation was low for our year ending State Championship Match. I guess we would have to say that Philip Braud was the star of this event with three 40X40 scores to his credit. Another stellar performance was made by Ellis Sisk who fired a 37X40 in PH22/A which jumped him up to AA class for this event and gave him his second match leg into AAA. Not a single Field Pistol entry was fired. Thanks to all who stayed after the match to help us pick up the range.

Charlie,
Congrats on a successful season and State Match. In my opinion, success is not necessarily measured by the number of participants alone; but by the quality of "sharing the range" with people who's company and companionship you truly enjoy......and then there is the shooting.

Stay strong my brother, even when it seems your efforts are not truly appreciated and others do not or cannot make the personal sacrifice to support your efforts for something they enjoy.

I commit to you now, that in 2017, I will make every effort to attend your State Championship !!!
