We had a much better turnout today than we usually do, pushing 11 entries through. Thanks to all the folks that came to share the range with us today. Region 2 Director Allen Gaskin came down from Mississippi and fired a couple of entries. David Heintz and his daughter Kayla were on hand as well. As her scores profess, Kayla will soon be a force to be reckoned with. Our old friend Robert Stevens made his first appearance of the year with a new scope mount for his Anschutz that seems to suit him very well. My brother Philip fired a pair of 40X40s, one in UAS and another in Practical Hunter. My neighbor Carey today got classified in UAS with a score of 25X40. Late last year I started trying to make International class in PHSC the hard way with my 10” Contender and iron sights. Today I missed my chance for my second leg into INT by missing my last ram. Boy, it’s not like I’ve never pulled that type of stunt before. We also had 3 NRA Cowboy Rifle shooters today for another 6 entries. Scores are listed below.
