It was a gorgeous day for shooting but very few people showed up. Only myself, brother Philip, and Bob Stevens shot today. Philip did really well with perfect scores in both UAS and PHSC. Bob Stevens fired a respectable 38X40 in UAS. I have been using my iron sighted 10” Contender in 22 Hornet for the Practical Hunter Short Course. I’ve been looking for that first perfect score with this rig and I’ll have to wait a little longer. 38X40 was the best I could muster with my 52 gr HP load. I re-entered and tried my cast bullets in this gun. I had no sight settings for cast but did manage a 37X40. The cast bullets seemed to group better for me today than the jacketed bullets.
