Please remember ALL veterans both past and present on this special day. We also commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the War to End All Wars, World War 1.
I am proud to be an Air Force veteran who served during the Vietnam Conflict and then later after my discharge to work for the Air Force for a total of 47 years.
Serving in the military is a privilege and a great honor.
Currently my oldest grandson is serving in the Army in Afghanistan. Our family is very proud of him and we can't wait for his return.
This is the one day of the year to honor our veterans but keep them in your hearts and prayers all year.
