Doe's he ever post on here? I see him on the Ruger forum. The blue forum. He used to shoot at our home range (CTSA New Braunfels, Texas). I saw him at Victoria and Goliad also. Just wondering.

Last I heard he is alive and well - he divides his time between Vermont and S. Louisiana. He is very active in the singleactions.com forum

Yeah, I went to the single action forums and he is very active there. One thing I remember about David is he was always encouraging to new shooters that were just starting out. He is very knowledgeable about Rugers and the Dan Wesson revolvers. He was down in this area at that time (early 80's) because his daughter lived in Austin. He roomed with another famous silhouetter, Bob Thomas, for awhile. I'm sure there are still others around that remember that old curmudgeon! LOL!
