Dan Wesson sight question
I have an old Monson Dan Wesson .41. I would like to get a better set of rear sights for it. I have bomar's on a new DW .22. The small frame sights will not fit on the large frame revolver. Is this a smallframe/largeframe issue, or is it due to the fact one was made 20+ years before the other? Any suggestions on a good rear sight for it? I have a set of millets and found them to be lacking this weekend.

Re: Dan Wesson sight question
I just noticed this post - sorry to take so long with a reply. Your Dan must be an early production model. The early large-frame guns had a sight with the elevation screw that was located near the rear sight blade. The later large-frame guns had the same sight as the small-framed (.22, .357. etc.) guns. The only target sight that was offered for the early production, large frame guns was made for Dan Wesson by Bo Clerke - there are EXTREMELY rare. My brother has one on his DW 44, but he will never sell it. I do not know of an option if you have this early type of sight - SORRY !!
