For Sale: Vern Juenke .300 VJAR

I have a Contender, modified by Vern Juenke himself! It's chambered in one of Vern's cartridge designs, the .300 VJAR (.300VJ). A real ram-slammer! The accuracy of this gun rivals that of any other, no exceptions. It has Vern's modified finger-adjustable Williams sight, which is absolutely repeatable. I also have a great hooded BoMar rear sight, also included. I had 2 of these guns, but never shot this one much at all. Back then, no optics were aollwed, but I also have scope mounts, if desired. It has some beautiful walnut on it. The lockup on this gun is extremely low tolerance, modified by Vern. The barrel is a Lilja, & has Vern's muzzle brake, one of the most effective ever! Also included are the loading dies, some loaded ammo, some fireformed brass, plus several boxes of new Federal .30 American brass. This gun is very fun to shoot, and is very manageable, even though the muzzle velocity, with a .308" 165 grain bullet rivals the .308 Winchester. I am no longer physically able to compete, and would make someone a good deal. You will love this piece! It's nearly as new! I will ship it in a foam-lined hard case, also included.
