Re: Anyone Tried Lasik?
My nephew and sister had lasiks surgery years ago and they had great vision the very next day. I am going to have cataract surgery this month and can't wait to get rid of my foggy vision. Don't know if I will be able to shoot the last LHA match so you can beat up in UAS.

Re: Anyone Tried Lasik?
I had it done a few years ago. I have had very little problem. They say you have some staring around light at night but my glasses always did that anyways. I have just short of 20-20 now and previously I couldn't read the speedometer on my car for my nearsightedness. It takes some time for your eyes to get strong after the surgery. My eyes took about 2 months to feel "right". They tended to not focus at night from tiredness, but this diminishes with time.
I had a very positive experience and would recommend it to anyone who is a candidate for it.

Didn't have lasix but had cataracts removed from both eyes recently and all I can say is WOW! The world is a lot brighter place now and I don't need glasses for distance (I was near sighted). Probably need some reading glasses since small print hard to see about 12" from face but clear vision from there on out.
Laid down with my Wichita U-gun with iron sights and I can see the sights great and beyond the end of the barrel too. Should be able to see my misses better now. Last match of the year next Saturday so will give new eyeballs a tryout if the weather cooperates. If any of you are holding off having cataract surgery, DON'T. It is painless. Just have to use lots of eye drops for about a month but small price to pay for great vision.

I would love to get it. At 55 my eyes suck. I would much rather shoot open sights, but can't see them. My most comfortable shooting position is Creedmore, but can't hold up that much weight with a scoped handgun.
