Twist rate of DW 375 SM barrels

Might anyone know what twist DW used in their .375-SM revolvers ? Thanks. rp
I have served as assistant match director, Southern Silhouette club, 1980s. Also, the Griffin Gun Club for Silhouette during the 1990s, to about 2005. For a short period I authored the ''Cast Bullet'' section of The IHMSA News. Joined IHMSA March 1979.

Richard, I think they were 1 in 18. I probably am wrong, but that sticks in my feeble mind. Will Curlin had one and it wouldn't stabilize anything except light bullets. He wanted to shoot a long heavy cast bullet in it. To get it to shoot he had to load it so hot you couldn't get the cases out. When you backed down the charge accuracy went away. He asked D W for a 1 in 14 barrel, but they never sold enough to warrent making any.At least that's what I remember from 20+ years ago.

Twist was 1 in 18.75
