WTB: Magazine for Anschutz Exemplar

Post by Texdance »

I bought my first 10" Exemplar yesterday (like new in box but missing sights) and have not had time to do much research yet, but I will. However, I want at least one or two extra magazines, 5 or 10 shot. So here's my Want To Buy message looking for such magazines while my Xmas funds still exist. I also have a WTB ad for iron sights.

It looks like the magazine for a Savage Mk II rimfire rifle would fit, perhaps with a little metalwork. Anyone tried this?

Regarding the issue sights; while some may find them serviceable I did not. To me they are too small. I replaced them with larger sights. If you are intent on having original sights you can email me. rp946 at bellsouth dot net Richard

I have some extra magazines laying around. Mine is cinverted to mid grip so I have no use for them. $25 shipped for two should cover it. I am out of town for the holidays until Jan. 5. Can you believe I'm in Anchorage? I will be in touch with you when I get home if this acceptable with you.

To Pbsinger and also 686 - I have not received emails or pm's as I think you indicated. If it is error on my part I apologize. I did want you guys to know I was still interested in a couple of mags for my Exemplar. I have two Savage Mk II 5-round mags that look like they can be modified to fit by filing a small notch in them to match the factory mag.

Texdance,

OOPS I forgot. I am back home from Alaska. Email your mailing address to me. As I went through my junk box I found 1 complete mag and one that will need some minor repair on the bottom plastic piece. Since your from TX and a sil shooter I know i can trust you. I will send them to you and you can send me what you think is fair. If you would like you can call me 208-251-0948.
