It was an absolutely beautiful day, but we didn’t have many shooters. Unfortunately our match was scheduled for the same time as the East Coast Championships and due to range conflicts we could not reschedule. Tom Wood had our only 40X40’s this month. Walt was our only open sight shooter and knocked down 36—9 of each. Walt also was our only half scale shooter and had a fine 38, missing a chicken and a ram. I was the .22 class champion (because I was the only shooter), but I was extremely happy with my 39. I missed the invisible turkey—he was hiding in the shadows. Hope to see more shooters next month!
