We had a great turnout and a beautiful day for our last match of the year. It was so nice out that no one wanted to quit shooting. Tom & Dean both had 40 X 40’s in big bore, one in UAS and one in Unlimited. Dean actually hit 40 targets in UAS, but one of the rams decided not to fall down. Joe Puffert was fighting the shadows on the chickens and only knocked down 6. Twenty minutes later they were back out in the sunlight. Should have waited a little bit I guess.
In .22 class, Dean & I both had 40 X 40’s. Dean knocked down 3 shoot off targets. Unfortunately I was running late and just barely got finished with my rams before I had to leave for work and didn’t get to shoot any shoot off’s to see if I could finally get as many as he did. Maybe he’ll let me shoot them at our first match next for the tiebreaker!
Thanks to everyone who came out and shot with us this year. We look forward to seeing you in the Spring! Our first match is tentatively scheduled for March 30. I’ll send out schedules as soon as our dates are officially approved.
