Original owner is selling Remington XP-100 (S/N B7511192) in 7x47 Spencer. Clay Spenser of Scottsville, VA, did the barreled action. Barrel Length – 14 11/16”. The Rear Sight is by Iron Sight Gun Works. The Sight Radius is 14 11/16”. There is no additional ‘sighting apparatus’ installed. Unloaded weight is 4.5 lbs. The overall length is just under 21”. This unit is in the original XP stock that has been whittled away to allow the barrel to free-float. Trigger weight is currently set @ 8oz as measured with a Wheeler Trigger Pull Scale and is very crisp. The parent cases used in this firearm were both Remington 222 Rem Mag and Federal 6x47, necked out to 7MM. This is a native Virginia firearm used in IHMSA Silhouette matches throughout Virginia in the early 80s and has been put up for approximately 25 years. Pictures available upon request.
