Welcome Mike Bellm as IHMSA News Contributor!

Beginning with the August issue, there will be another regular contributor to the IHMSA News in addition to the great Ken Horowitz and Tom Acheson. Mike Bellm of BellmTCs has agreed to assist in our publication, contributing valuable articles from his archives as well as the possibility of new information as it comes. While Mike is probably a familiar name with the "old guard' of IHMSA, for those that don't know, Mike is one of the utmost authorities on the Thompson Center Contender. With the Contender being one of the most common firearms people use in IHMSA, as well as the increased lack of support for it as far as parts/repairs of it are concerned since Smith & Wesson bought them out, I strongly feel that Mike is going to prove to be a great resource for our shooters, both old and new. I must thank my brother Troy Frey of Cheyenne, WY for bringing up this idea of getting hold of Mike, and thank Mike Bellm for serving as a supporter of our sport.

I belong to an email group of which Mike Bellm is also a member. He has provided more valuable information on TCs than many of us will ever learn in a lifetime. If you have never visited his website I urge you to do so at bellmstcs.com. He provides free information to maintain TCs and offers many TC related products at very reasonable prices. He will be a great asset to the IHMSA News. More good progress for IHMSA. Keep up the good work.

Great to hear. Mike has done a few contender trigger jobs for me which turned out great. I've purchased spring kits for encores which are awesome. His directions for installation were a huge help. He has spent plenty of his time on the phone with me talking me thru tc issues. If you have contenders and encores, I suggest that you use Mike as a valuable and knowledgeable resource.

I'm glad to have him aboard. I have been on his web site many times and at this present time I have a T/C 12" 357 mag barrel at his shop waiting for it to be re=chambered to 357 max. From all his articles on his site, he definatly seem to know what he is doing. Welcome Mike.
