G'day All , I am in urgent need of a Bomar sight set for my .41 Magnum Ruger Blackhawk .
I am happy to trade or pay cash for a set , I have a couple of Bomar sets for T/C Encore's
& one Bomar rib including sight for a S&W revolver to use as trade goods .

Hello Paul, something to consider. If you use a Bomar on a regular Blackhawk 41 Mag. with the soldered-on front sight base, the front sight will not be nearly tall enough. The Ruger Bomar sits VERY high on the gun. I was just wondering if you have considered this. I can e-mail you pics of the Bomar - globe set-up on my Super Blackhawk 44 Mag if you want to see what I am talking about. Let me know - just trying to help !! G'day Philip , thank you for your reply , I am aware of this but please do post or email a pic of your gun :-bd

My Mates have bond style globe front sight setups on theirs and I thought they got them in the sets just like all the T/C sets that I have.

I will post some pics later today. The globe will work on the bull-barreled Supers, because they have a screw mounted front sight. Regular Blackhawks have a soldered-on front sight base, with a pinned front sight blade. Don't know how you could mount a globe without modifying the gun, thus making it an Unlimited gun.
