I used 32.0 grains of H4895 years ago in my 7INT Wichita with 139 and 154 Hornady bullets so I know what you guys are talking about. I just migrated to other powders and am now known for my wimp loads. I still have 4895 on my shelf so will play with it again. Haven't tried it with cast bullets but don't know why it wouldn't work.
