Hi all,
I would like to replace my RUGER SBH (44Mag) and SSix (22LR) sights by better open sights
BoMar is closed, Millett no longer manufacture sights for these revolvers.
Is Bowen sights suitable and accurate enough for Silhouette purpose ?
What is the better choice ??
Many thanks !

Re: RUGER open sights
A friend used Bowen sights & likes them. I'm not sure what other options are available. Good luck!

Re: RUGER open sights
I have owned a Bowen rear sight - it is a very nice sight ! The only problem you might run into is this - Bowen no longer makes a narrow-notch rear blade, which you will need if you have a 10.5" barrel. When I bought one, he still had some blank blades, and made me a narrow notch. Will not hurt to ask if he can still do this.

thank you for your answers !
What do you think of the idea of a friend, to modify a Williams "FP Blade" for that use?

Re: RUGER open sights
Cant modify and still be "production" legal. Found these listing on sights from a company out of south africa. They make a front sight and rear base for a ruger 22 that takes a flat base bomar or champion. Not sure what it would cost go get one. Prices are listed in Rands I believe you can find conversions to US dollars.
