2013 IHMSA Big Bore, Field Pistol and Bordello is off to a great start at JPRPC.

We had 14 entries. Threatening weather was predicted but we were quite fortunate to have only cool temperatures without rain or snow. We had one new shooter from Illinois. Peter Wories, this was his first match and managed to tie for Bordello 1st place. Winner was determined by Ram count with William Parmley coming out on top with 3 Rams to Pete's 1 Ram. Thank you Pete for attending our match. Your sportsmanship and safe handling of firearms was greatly appreciated. Hope to see you out again. Next time we will have a BB center fire gun prepared for you to shoot!
Also Dennis Sanderson shot his first 40 in BB-UAS. After many 39's finally the perfect score, nice shooting Dennis.

Darell Holcome shot for the first time BB-US and knocked down 30 targets (AAA). A force to be reckoned with in the future! He is now shooting a Contender in 30 Reece which is a 357 Magnum necked down to thirty caliber.
Over all everyone shot well and came out on top in at least one entry.

I would like to thank Lynn McCutchen and his crew for preparing the range for our match. Mowing and repair of the safety wall between Range 3 and the public range is greatly appreciated.

Next match held Sunday April 28 starting at 10 AM. Just a reminder April, June and July will be held on the 4th Sunday. All other matches May, August, September and October for BB will be on the 4th Saturday.

Thanks to everyone that helped with the days events. Things ran pretty smooth considering it was the first match of the year. This is our range to enjoy, take advantage of this great facility! See you next month.
