Well Phillip our last bass player used a Fender Precision with a Mesa Boogie Bass 400 amp with an 8-10 SVT cabinet, that rig shook the dirt out of the rafters every place we played! Between guns and being in a band that's why I can't hear anymore! Oh I can't forget the sounds of Top Fuel dragsters that took alot away too!

Yes - the Mesa + 8-10 SVT cab combo would probably kill some, and maim others. I played a festival once with supplied back line - bass rig was a SVT with (2) 8-10 cabs --- HEAVEN !!!
