Can't speak for anyone else, but I'm pretty well satisfied. Downside is that you can't much count on a low rear leg hit to take a Ram off the rail. And perhaps slightly harder to take down with a middle body hit in the rear, as has been my usual aiming spot with the heavy bullet .223 loads, so Unlimited with .223 and 77gr or lighter bullets might not be viable any more, especially if the wind is blowing downrange.
After my UAS "Mixmaster I" entry, I shot a number of ,223 Rem. rounds in various places on the new, hinged #4 Ram bank when it wasn't in use by others. Factory 75gr PRVI Partisan ammo worked every time hits were noticeably above center, IIRC. But some mildly loaded 88gr Hornady ELD bullets took them down unless the hits were well below center. Whether hits were toward the head or rump did not seem to matter. Good enough to think that working up a "super heavy weight" bullet load for the Unlimited "Mixmaster II" manually operated AR pistol kluge may be worth trying. (An additional factor is whether shortening the barrel to take a muzzle brake so that Lisa can run it without discomfort will leave enough velocity to still take Rams. Multiple experiments ongoing....) Also tried the XP-100R .223 with it's factory slow twist barrel. The new Rams laughed at the puny 60gr Hornady soft points unless they got hit high in the head and/or horn! Very top edge body hits had zero effect.
Sadly, no Ram report with the .44 as the old RL7 loads I brought just lost the plot past the Chickens! At least that brass is again again ready to reload with the current iteration of LSWC Speer bullets and case full of 4198 producing a MV of 1000FPS. (Great FP load pushed into service for occasional BB duty.)
